How Would You Best Describe Your Style?
My photography style is a blend of documentary and candid moments, with a relaxed and natural storytelling approach. I focus on capturing genuine emotions and real connections rather than stiff, overly posed shots. During portraits, I provide gentle guidance to help you feel comfortable while still keeping things authentic and natural.
If you’d like to see more of my work, I recommend checking out my Real Weddings section on my blog, where I post wedding stories with plenty of photos from the entire day.

What Areas Do You Cover?
I’m a wedding photographer based in Dundee & Angus, but I also cover Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire, Fife, Stirling, Perth & Perthshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond!
I also photograph destination weddings - if you’re planning a wedding abroad, we can discuss travel and accommodation arrangements.

When Should We Book You?
I recommend booking as soon as you’ve secured your venue and date. Many couples book me 12 months in advance, especially for peak season (May to September). If you’re planning a weekend wedding, it’s best to lock in your date as early as possible. However, if your wedding is short-notice, feel free to get in touch - I may still have availability!

Do You Require a Deposit?
Yes, I require a deposit to secure your wedding date. This will be deducted from your final balance. I also offer flexible payment plans, so let me know if you’d like to arrange one.

How Long Does It Take to Get Our Photos?
I typically deliver your full gallery within 4-5 weeks, though during peak wedding season it may take 6-8 weeks. I also provide a small preview within 24-48 hours so you can share some early moments with friends and family.

Will You Take Group Photos?
Yes, if you’d like! Group photos are important for many couples, but I try to keep them quick and efficient so you can get back to enjoying your day.

How Many Hours Should We Book?
Most couples book me for 10 hours, which covers everything from morning preparations to evening dancing. If your wedding has a longer schedule, 12-hour coverage might be a better fit. Let’s chat about your timeline, and I can recommend the best package for you.

How Many Photos Will We Receive?
For a 10-hour wedding, you can expect a minimum of 500 fully edited images. Larger weddings or longer coverage may include more, but I focus on quality over quantity.

Do We Need to Provide a Meal for You?
If I’m covering more than 6 hours, I’d really appreciate a meal to stay energized. If that’s not possible, no worries—I can bring my own food.

Do You Provide All the Photos You Take, Including RAW Files?
No, I don’t deliver RAW files. I carefully select and edit the best images to ensure every photo meets my professional quality standards. RAW files also require specialized software and are not typically useful to clients.

Can We Share the Online Gallery with Our Guests?
Yes! I provide a private online gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. I love when couples share their photos, and I’d appreciate any social media tags when posting!

Do You Have Backup Equipment?
Absolutely! I always bring multiple cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to ensure I’m prepared for anything. Your wedding day is too important to take risks!

What Happens If You Can’t Make It Due to Illness?
I have never missed a wedding, but in the extremely unlikely event that I’m unable to attend, I’ll do everything I can to ensure you’re covered.

Have You Photographed Our Venue Before?
If I’ve worked at your venue before, I’ll be familiar with the best spots for photos. If not, no problem! A good wedding photographer can work in any location, and I always research new venues in advance to ensure I’m prepared. On the wedding day, I also arrive early to explore the venue and find the best locations for your photos.
