Sarahjane & Daniel’s Taypark House wedding in Dundee was a truly beautiful day from start to finish. Their outdoor ceremony, the emotional moments, and the way their friends and family came together made this one of those weddings that stays with you.

As a Dundee wedding photographer, I love capturing local weddings like this one at Taypark House in the heart of Dundee - the relaxed atmosphere, outdoor ceremony space, gardens, and intimate corners all made it perfect for candid photography. The venue allows real, emotional moments to shine and offers plenty of space for storytelling photography, from intimate couple moments to lively celebrations with friends and family. It’s the kind of venue where real moments naturally unfold, and I was so excited to document their day.

Their Wedding Day Story
Both Sarahjane and Daniel were getting ready at Taypark House, but on different floors of the venue. The morning was filled with excitement, nerves, and so much support from their bridal party. Everyone around them truly wanted to make the day as smooth, joyful, and special as the couple hoped for. You could feel how much love and care they had for the bride and groom.

Just a few minutes before the ceremony, they planned a private first look. It was emotional from the moment they saw each other. As soon as their eyes met, the tears came - real, happy tears that showed just how deep their connection is. After so many years together, their love didn’t just show… it shined.

Their outdoor ceremony took place in the gardens, surrounded by sunshine and smiling faces. And when Sarahjane walked down the aisle, Daniel’s reaction said everything. He couldn’t hold back his emotions, and it became one of the most unforgettable moments of the day. These are the kinds of scenes I love capturing — real, honest moments that tell the story better than anything posed ever could.

After the ceremony, guests showered them in confetti before we moved into bridal party photos and family group pictures.

Then we slipped away for a mix of relaxed portraits and a few editorial-style images they had planned. While they love candid and documentary photography, they also wanted a touch of elegance and Taypark House gave us the perfect backdrop. Their connection made every image effortless.

Inside, the speeches were full of emotion. There were funny stories, tears, and moments that brought the whole room together. Later came the cake cutting followed by a beautiful first dance.
Since Daniel is a DJ, his friend covered the music early in the evening, but the real surprise came later. After changing into her second dress, Sarahjane stepped behind the DJ booth and shocked everyone. The guests went wild. Daniel’s face said everything: proud, happy, and totally amazed. It was the perfect ending to a sunny, emotional, joy-filled Dundee wedding.

Taypark House Wedding Photographer — About My Approach & the Venue
I’m a Dundee-based wedding photographer, and my style is all about real moments: natural, candid, documentary storytelling. I focus on letting your day unfold naturally, without interrupting or posing things that don’t need to be posed. Most of the time, you won’t even notice I’m there, because I want you to enjoy your day fully. Sarahjane & Daniel - thank you for letting me be part of your day. It was emotional, sunny, joyful, and full of moments I’ll never forget. Their kind words meant so much:
"They truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pair to share our special day with. We’ll absolutely be recommending them to anyone looking for photographers, no matter the occasion,”
