If you're dreaming of a wedding surrounded by Scottish countryside, Kinclune House & Estate is one of the most beautiful new venues we've come across — and as photographers based just nearby, it’s such a joy to have this gem on our doorstep and to be among the very first photographers to capture this incredible venue.

Nestled on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park near Kirriemuir, this stunning 800-acre estate offers everything you could want for a relaxed and unforgettable wedding. We were recently invited to a styled shoot at Kinclune House, and we were blown away by the beauty of the space — from the historic interiors to the panoramic views.
A Dreamy Venue in the Angus Glens
Kinclune House is a beautifully restored 19th-century baronial mansion that sleeps up to 14 people and is dog-friendly — perfect for a full wedding weekend with family and friends. The house is filled with natural light, characterful details, and offers a stunning outdoor setting with views across the Angus Glens.
From spring 2025, weddings at Kinclune will take place in their brand new Steading Barn — a purpose-built venue with heritage charm and space for up to 120 guests. It’s a dream backdrop for couples looking for an elegant venue surrounded by nature.

Capturing Kinclune as Wedding Photographers
We approached the shoot the way we would a real wedding — focusing on relaxed, candid moments between the couples. Our aim was to create images that future couples can truly connect with and imagine themselves in.
We loved working with the talented team of local vendors who brought this vision to life — from the floral design to the dress styling and decor. And although this shoot was styled, the warmth and energy on the day were very real.
