For couples who don’t want their wedding to feel like a photoshoot

A relaxed approach so you can stay present, enjoy your day and still come away with photos you really love

If you’re worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, you’re not alone. Most couples I work with say exactly the same at the beginning.

As a Dundee-based wedding photographer, I see this all the time. But as the day goes on, it starts to feel a lot more natural and you’re focused on what’s happening, not on the camera.

I’ll be there capturing everything as it happens, the big moments, the small ones, and everything in between. When needed, I’ll guide you just enough so nothing feels forced, but you still come away with photos you really love.

What it’s like to have me as your wedding photographer

You won’t be pulled away for hours, you won’t be standing around wondering what to do and it won’t feel like your day has turned into a photoshoot. Instead, you get to spend time with your people, stay present in what’s actually happening and just enjoy it as it all comes together.

I’ll be there capturing everything as it happens, the big moments, the small ones, and everything in between.

When it helps, I’ll step in to guide you during portraits, to keep group photos quick and easy or to make the most of good light. Then I step back again so you can carry on enjoying your day.

Candid wedding photography capturing real moments

Weddings are full of small moments happening all the time - your friends laughing during speeches, your parents reacting during the ceremony, that quiet moment together when everything slows down the little in-between moments you don’t plan for.

That’s what I focus on most of the time. I don’t interrupt or stage those moments, I just let them happen and photograph them as they are so when you look back, you see the day as it really felt.

How I photograph your wedding day

Most of the day, I’m capturing things as they happen without interrupting it.

When needed, I’ll step in briefly for group photos and a few relaxed portraits, then step back again so you can carry on enjoying your day

Natural, true-to colour editing

I don’t use filters and I don’t follow trends.

Colours stay true to how your day actually looked.

My editing is vibrant and natural - greens stay green, skin tones stay real.

Just clean, colourful images that feel like your wedding so when you look back, it still feels real.

A few words from past couples

Kerri-Anne and Iain

"Zibi brought our memories to life in the most natural and beautiful way. Even as a camera-shy couple we were completely blown away. The photos exceeded every expectation and felt like reliving the day from every angle."

Kerry & Andrew

"We barely noticed Zibi and Paulina on the day, yet somehow they captured everything — the laughter, the tears, the little in-between moments. They made us feel completely at ease and delivered timeless, relaxed photos that are full of life. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing.”

 Sarahjane & Daniel

"From our very first call, we knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and every candid moment was captured without us ever feeling posed or awkward. The results were beyond anything we could have hoped for."
