Kinclune House & Estate – A New Wedding Venue in Angus

If you’re dreaming of a wedding surrounded by Scottish countryside, Kinclune House & Estate is one of the most exciting new venues in Angus. Set on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park near Kirriemuir, this beautiful 800-acre estate feels peaceful, private, and wonderfully connected to nature.

We’re based locally, so having a venue like this so close to home feels really special. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that Kinclune House offers something a little different - historic interiors, sweeping views across the Angus Glens, and space to truly slow down and enjoy the day.

A Relaxed Styled Shoot at Kinclune House

We were invited to take part in a styled shoot at Kinclune House & Estate, and it was a brilliant opportunity to explore the venue and photograph it as we would a real wedding day. Even though this was a styled shoot, our approach stayed the same - relaxed, natural, and focused on real connection.

As a Kinclune House wedding photographer, it was really valuable to experience the flow of the venue, the light in different spaces, and how the surroundings work for natural, documentary-style photography.

Working alongside a talented team of local suppliers, the day came together beautifully. From floral details to dress styling and décor, everything was thoughtfully chosen, and the atmosphere on the day felt warm, creative, and genuinely enjoyable.

Kinclune House is a stunning setting for Kinclune House wedding photography, offering so much variety in one place. The main house is filled with natural light and characterful details, while the surrounding grounds open out to wide views across the Angus Glens.

From spring 2025, weddings at Kinclune will take place in their new Steading Barn - a purpose-built space with heritage charm and room for up to 120 guests. It’s a lovely option for couples looking for an elegant venue that still feels relaxed and connected to the landscape.
