Dundee Registrar Office Wedding – Caroline and Andrew’s Hollins Room Ceremony

Caroline and Andrew’s Dundee Registrar Office wedding was a relaxed city wedding, celebrated with their children, closest family and friends. Their ceremony took place in the Hollins Room, right in the centre of Dundee. It felt simple and personal. Their children were part of the handfasting, and they also included a quaich during the ceremony, which added a Scottish touch to the day.

Why Choose a Dundee Registrar Office Wedding?
A Dundee Registrar Office wedding is a good option if you’re planning something smaller and more relaxed. The city centre location makes it easy to organise the day, with everything close by. You can step straight out after the ceremony for photos, then head on to your next plans without needing to travel far or keep guests waiting. The Hollins Room is right in the heart of Dundee, which works well if you want a simple ceremony and the flexibility to celebrate the rest of your day elsewhere.

Wedding Photos at Caird Hall and Dundee City Centre
After the ceremony, we stepped outside towards Caird Hall for family photos and a confetti moment. It’s just a short walk from the registrar office and works really well for this part of the day.
Having a spot like this so close means you can keep things moving without any pressure, and guests can stay nearby without needing to go far.

Where to Take Wedding Photos Near Dundee Registrar Office
There are plenty of good spots for photos right in the centre of Dundee. On this day, we had about 10 minutes for couple portraits before they moved on to their plans for the rest of the day, so we stayed close and kept it simple.
If you have a bit more time in your schedule, there are a few really nice locations nearby that work well for portraits while still keeping everything within walking distance.
A Dress with a Personal Touch
Caroline wore a blue tartan corset-style gown with a layered lace underskirt. It felt like a traditional Scottish look but with her own personal twist, which suited the day really well.
